The Getaway has emerged from the depths of 2020 as a revamped Bar & Grill under the ownership of Greg Novak and Chad Hardy. These two started together back in the 1990s and have a working resume that includes well known hot spots like Metropol, Donzis, Crewser’s, Diesel and Whim nightclubs, Sanctuary, Altar Bar, Charlies Murdoch’s Dueling Piano Bar, and Cain’s Saloon. They enjoy the love and support of their wives, Dana Salmen and Jeana Caruso.

The new South Hills destination for food and libations, The Getaway Bar & Grill boasts a balanced offering of local and global Drafts, bottled ciders, seltzers, and a destination inspired cocktail menu. The food offerings are a step above traditional pub fare with a flair of elevated sophistication. The food and beverage program is curated by the talented management team of Matt Nalepka, Ryan Pahnke, and Justin Livengood to keep offerings fresh and unique year round.
Six-Packs + More, Right Next Door
The sister side of building houses McNeilly Bottle Shop and Tasting Room, selling mix six packs with over 1,000 beers, and a prepacked variety to satisfy all types of consumers and their tastes. Also offering the ever popular alcoholic slushees, lottery, and an exciting destination inspired hot dog menu with ¼ lb. hot dogs served daily! If we don’t have its probably not worth drinking!
